Department of Rehabilitation and
Mental Health Counseling

The Department of Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling at the University of South Florida is seeking an instructor to coordinate the field component of training and for graduate classroom teaching. Necessary qualifications are a masters degree in rehabilitation counseling and earned doctorate in rehabilitation counseling or closely related area. Applicants must be nationally certified as a rehabilitation counselor by the Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification, and licensed or license eligible as a mental health counselor in Florida.

Preferred qualifications are active license as a mental health counselor in Florida; professional experience (3 or more years) delivering rehabilitation counseling and/or mental health counseling in applied settings; experience in coordinating and/or supervising the field component of a rehabilitation counseling, mental health counseling, or related human service program; and demonstrated success in teaching graduate level courses in rehabilitation or mental health counseling.

Salary is negotiable and commensurate with experience.
